Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the Chinese delegation led by the Governor of Jiangsu Province of China, Xu Kunlin, the Uzbek-Chinese trade, economic, investment and tourism forum was held in Karshi. 

The parties outlined prospects for the implementation of mutually beneficial investment projects in priority sectors.

Meetings were held in B2B and B2G formats, in which more than 250 representatives of the business community of China and Uzbekistan, investors, representatives of ministries and departments took part. The possibilities of increasing cooperation and creating new joint production facilities were discussed.

The total volume of Chinese investments in Uzbekistan for 2017-2022. amounted to more than US$10 billion. In 2022 alone, more than US$2 billion of investments were disbursed. The number of enterprises created in Uzbekistan with the participation of Chinese capital has today reached 1,823 units.
