Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The United States welcomes the recently signed Khujand Declaration on Eternal Friendship and the Treaty between the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan on the junction point of the state borders of the three countries. This was stated by the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent.

"Such steps are of great importance for supporting regional integration and strengthening stability," the diplomatic mission noted in its statement.

"We hope that this agreement will lead to expanded economic opportunities, closer ties between the peoples of the three countries, and the overall strengthening of the region," the embassy added.
