The United States include Uzbekistan in the list of countries through which sanctioned goods can enter the Russia and Belarus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is included in the US Treasury Department’s list of possible "transshipment points" through which sanctioned goods can enter Russia and Belarus.

The United States and European countries have imposed sanctions against Russia and Belarus, banning the sale of a number of goods.

The Financial Crime Enforcement Network and the Bureau of Industry and Security of the US Treasury issued comments stating that in some cases, controlled goods can be legally exported as raw materials for the manufacture of finished products.

However, the further shipment of these products to Russia and Belarus at the expense of additional "transshipment points" may be prohibited.

Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Brazil, Georgia, India, Israel, China, Mexico, Nicaragua, UAE, Serbia, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey and South Africa were included in the list of "transshipment points".

However, the list is not limited to these states, the Ministry of Finance stressed.

The United States is of “particular concern” in this regard to equipment that can be used for military purposes, in particular, aircraft parts, sonar systems, spectrophotometers, GPS systems, and other products.
