Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Turkic Agricultural Forum was held in Baku as part of the Second Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The main focus of the Turkic Agricultural Forum is aimed at expanding economic interrelations in the agro-industrial complex, including increasing trade turnover and mobilizing investments in mutually beneficial projects between member states and observers.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov took part in the event with a report.

In his speech, Islam Jasimov especially noted that the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry has become the center for the formation of business relations between the business community of our countries.

It is worth noting that agriculture and agro-industry are the main assets of sustainable socio-economic development of the OTS member states.

Within the framework of the Agricultural Forum, B2B meetings were also held, in which businessmen from member countries and observers of the v took part.
