The training program "commercialization of technologies and implementation of start-up projects" was launched

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 May, at the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, within the framework of the World Bank project "Modernization of the National Innovation System of Uzbekistan" (MUNIS), a group of international experts launched the training program "Commercialization of technologies and implementation of start-up projects” in all regions and cities of our republic.

The event was opened by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov. Mr. Erali Beksultan, head of the World Bank working group, Dilshod Azgarov, head of the MUNIS project, Sergey Makarov, an international expert in the implementation of scientific projects and business start-ups, spoke about the goals and objectives of the project.

The main goal of the program is to strengthen the practical skills of young scientists, entrepreneurs and young people with their own start-up ideas in the implementation of their projects, as well as their support in the commercialization of technologies to achieve the goals of the innovative development strategy for 2022-2026. The project will also help broaden the target audience of the subcomponents of the MUNIS project.

The project will be implemented in 12 regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan within 8 months, starting from May 2023. Within the framework of the project, trainings and free interactive seminars will be organized in all regions of Uzbekistan with the participation of international expert Sergey Makarov. The following topics will be covered:

R&D commercialization principles;

Identification of promising innovative products;

Product development (using the Kano model in future product features);

Search for clients and new enterprises (one of the Lean methods is the formation of R & D on the principle of "house of quality" based on the needs of customers);

IM identification and early evaluation;

Business accelerators and early-stage venture investments: what R&D people need to know;

Global development: what to expect and what to avoid.
