Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A conference on the topic “Current State and Prospects of Cooperation in the Fields of Economy, Investments, and Tourism” was held in Türkiye.
The conference took place within the framework of the meeting of the High Council for Strategic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
Jamshid Abdusalomov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasized that the development of tourism between Uzbekistan and Türkiye is a key aspect of expanding the economic ties between the two countries, along with strengthening cooperation in education, information technology, investments, and other areas. He also noted that Uzbekistan is creating all necessary conditions to attract tourists from Türkiye.
Participants of the conference were presented with information about the tourist potential of Uzbekistan, as well as about the measures taken by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the field of tourism development and the achievements made.
Confidence was expressed that after the implementation of a number of projects for the development of tourism in Uzbekistan and Türkiye, tangible results can be achieved, such as increasing the flow of tourists, income levels, and cooperation between the regions of the two countries.
At the end of the conference, a presentation and a video clip showcasing the tourist potential of Uzbekistan were held.
