Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, from 7 to 9 June, in Khiva, at the initiative of the State Committee on Tourism and the Khorezm region khokimiyat, an international tournament “Game of the Pahlavon Mahmud” was held.

Along with the strongest athletes from 12 countries, major sports television channels from India (Doordarshan Sport), Iran (SHOMA TV) and Azerbaijan (AZERTV Idman) were also invited. So on 29 and 30 June, at prime time, the DD Sport TV channel showed a detailed report on the Pakhlavon Mahmud Bogatyr’s Games International tournament held in Khiva. “DD Sport” is the state television channel of India, was founded in 1998 and is a satellite round-the-clock channel broadcasting throughout the country in English and in Hindi.

The audience of the channel every day is more than 100 million viewers. In addition to sports broadcasts, tournaments in cricket, football and tennis, the channel shows the national Indian sports.
