Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State committee for tourism development, in cooperation with the consulate general of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main and the “Global communication Experts Agency”, organized an online meeting with more than 20 bloggers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, foreign journalists, representatives of travel and online news agencies.
During the meeting, foreign partners were shown a presentation and a video about the rich cultural history of Uzbekistan, ancient monuments, reforms in the tourism sector in recent years, including new tourist sites, gastronomy, national crafts and the country’s tourism potential.
“Uzbekistan. Safe travel Guaranteed” was created in accordance with the concept of sanitary and epidemiological safety in the country for the safe movement of tourists in our country, foreign journalists and representatives of the tourism industry. Foreign bloggers and tourism professionals were impressed by the live broadcast from the ancient Registan Square in the center of Samarkand.
During the meeting, representatives of the State committee for tourism development and the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main answered in detail all the questions of the participants. Following the videoconference, the parties exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in the field of tourism, reducing the impact of the pandemic on the industry, as well as representatives of the “Global communication Experts Agency” to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan abroad.
