Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the official visit of the Chairman of the Tourism Committee to Beijing, meetings were held with leading travel companies. 

The event was attended by the heads of the China Tourism Marketing Association, the online travel platform Qunar.com, the tour operator CYTS Tours and other leading organizations.

During the negotiations, it was decided to develop a separate strategy to strengthen the presence of Uzbekistan in the Chinese tourism market, which involves the creation of a special master program to attract tourists and expand the tourism opportunities of the republic.

Representatives of tourism companies emphasized the long-standing historical ties and cultural similarities between China and Uzbekistan, and also expressed the importance of tourism in strengthening these relations in modern times.
