Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 14 March, the thirty-eighth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan began its work in Tashkent.

The plenary session is attended by senators, members of the government, heads of state bodies, ministries and departments, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in our country, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate, as well as media workers.

The plenary session is chaired by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva. It considers the issue of holding a referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
