Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The presentation of the XXXII theatrical award "Crystal Turandot" took place in Moscow. On this day, from the stage of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater, the names of the best director, stage designer, leading actor, the name of the brightest debutant of the season were announced.
The winners were awarded seven crystal figurines in seven categories.
Among them there is a special one - "For honor, dignity and service to the viewer." This year it went to the Uzbek master of the Tashkent VGIK, Professor Rustam Sagdullaev, known for the film “Only Old Men Go to Battle”.
In previous years, Vasily Lanovoy, Oleg Efremov, Yuri Lyubimov, Oleg Tabakov, Mark Zakharov, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Valentin Gaft, Inna Churikova, Vladimir Mashkov, Evgeny Mironov, Chulpan Khamatova, Yulia Peresild and many others have become laureates of the award.
This award was founded in 1991. It got its name in honor of the legendary play "Princess Turandot", staged in 1922 by Yevgeny Vakhtangov.
