The system of training youth in professions and foreign languages to be improved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government Resolution “On measures to improve the system of training youth in professions (specialties) and foreign languages” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, a Center for teaching citizens (youth) foreign languages and targeted preparation for work in foreign countries will be created. One of the main tasks of the Center is the organization of selection processes by employers for citizens of Uzbekistan who want to work abroad.

Training courses in professions (specialties) and foreign languages will be organized in professional educational institutions.

Graduates who successfully complete the training courses will be issued a state-approved document.

Personnel training at training courses will be carried out on a paid contract basis for educational programs for a period of up to one year.

As part of the training courses, students will learn English, German, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and other popular foreign languages.

If students attracted to professional educational institutions have independently studied a foreign language and present an international or equivalent certificate, they will be reimbursed 50 percent of the funds spent on learning a foreign language, but in an amount not exceeding 10 basic calculated values, for state budget account.

At the same time, for citizens hired to work in a foreign country, it is required to obtain an internationally recognized certificate in a foreign language at level B2, and for citizens traveling abroad on the basis of “Ausbildung” (dual form of education) - level B1 in German.

Teaching staff involved in training courses, based on the effectiveness of their activities, are paid a monthly bonus of up to 100 percent of their salary.
