The awards ceremony was attended by the management of the UzMobile branch and representatives of the media.
On the eve of the New Year, the national operator UZTELECOM proudly greeted 7,000,000 mobile subscribers, which became Asliddin Kudratullaevich Rajapov.
“7,000,000 subscribers on such holidays are a double joy for every employee of our Company. Firstly, it is mainly evidence that our efforts to improve the quality of services have been noticed and appreciated among the population and have earned trust. I would like to note that we have achieved this result thanks to the trust of our subscribers. Secondly, it is worth noting the colossal work and contribution of our specialists who made this victory possible, despite the difficulties and all the unforeseen circumstances of this year," noted Javlon Islamov, deputy director of the UzMobile branch.
2020 this year has become a landmark for UZTELECOM - the UzMobile branch celebrated the 5th anniversary of the launch of GSM mobile communications, and its subscriber base increased by 2 million.
In addition, this year, the national operator UZTELECOM has carried out large-scale measures to update and modernize its networks and transfer all base stations to 4G technology throughout the Republic. Despite the pandemic and quarantine, the technical team tirelessly, in compliance with all sanitary standards, completed the tasks and achieved the goal, significantly improving the quality of communication and increasing the network coverage throughout the country. But the team of the national operator does not stop there and continues to work on improving the offered services, updating technical capacities, developing new services, and introducing the latest innovative technologies. Also, during the year, the technical team of the Company launched more than 600 base stations throughout Uzbekistan.
