Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Decree “On measures to further improve the level of provision of cultural services to the population” was adopted.

The resolution approved the Calendar Plan of cultural, concert and entertainment events held in the republic in 2024–2025.

Since 2024, every two years in October, a republican competition among amateur artistic groups will be held.

From 1 April 2024:

- the media project “Waves of Culture” is being implemented.

As part of the competition, each of the 50 best highly ideological media products that are positively received by the public is awarded a cash prize in the amount of 50 million soums;

- within the framework of the media project, the directions and concept of the competition have been determined, and the 50 best highly ideological media products that are positively received by the public will be awarded, each of which will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of 50 million soums;

- a theatrical historical official reception ceremony will be organized - “Reception with the Khan” in the Khudayarkhan Palace in the city of Kokand;

- the project “Travel with a Star” (“Yulduz bilan sayohat”) will be implemented with the participation of domestic and foreign personalities popular among the population, especially on social networks;

- the “Street Art and Music” project (“Kўcha sanati wa musikasi”) will be implemented in certain locations.

Wherein:

- shopping malls for musical instruments, paintings and handicrafts will be organized on the corresponding streets;

- at the end of each quarter, 10 active creative figures from each region are rewarded with cash in the amount of at least 20 times the basic estimated value.

According to the Resolution, in order to stimulate and support the activities of foreign citizens, including compatriots, who are actively promoting our national culture in foreign countries, a system for assigning the status of “Ambassador of Uzbek Culture” will be introduced.
