Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government of Uzbekistan is starting the process of privatization of the Kyzylkum phosphorite complex.

The Agency for State Assets Management announced the start of the selection of consultants for the privatization of the Kyzylkum phosphorite complex.

The government plans to sell 100% of the state stake in the enterprise. The consultant must analyze the state of the enterprise and the market, and provide recommendations for a future transaction.

Applications are accepted until 18:00 Tashkent time on 16 November.

The Kyzylkum phosphorite complex is located in Kanimekh district of Navoi region. The enterprise can produce up to 716 thousand tons of phosphorite concentrate and phosphate rock per year
