Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Museum of Jadid Heritage will be created in Uzbekistan, according to the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan.

The museum will be located in the Hovli Poyon complex in Bukhara, as specified in the resolution.

The institution will operate under the auspices of the Art and Culture Development Foundation. The costs of maintaining the museum will be financed from the local budget of Bukhara region, as well as from the museum’s own income.

All museum objects and collections, books and manuscripts, as well as building materials, equipment, furniture and other inventory that will be imported to create a museum are exempt from customs duties until 1 January 2025.
