Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 September, within the framework of the Tashkent International Film Festival, a creative meeting was held with representatives of the Indian film industry.

The ceremony was attended by Bollywood legends and stars - Mitun Chakraborty, Bomani Irani, Kunal Kapoor, Nawab Shoh, Randyir Kapoor and other movie stars.

At a meeting with Uzbek filmmakers, the legend of Indian cinema, Randhir Kapoor, the eldest son of the founder of the Indian film industry, Raj Kapoor presented a huge bust of his father to Uzbek filmmakers. The bust was presented as a sign of respect for the Kapurov dynasty to the Uzbek people.

Within the framework of the film festival, revived at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, Days of World Cinema are held with the participation of 14 countries of the world - Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Israel, India, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
