Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The sixth meeting of the Uzbek-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission will be held in the capital of Saudi Arabia.

The delegations are headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev and Saudi Arabian Investment Minister Khalid al-Falih, Dunyo news agency reports.

The agenda of the meeting included issues of further expansion of cooperation in trade, economic, investment, financial and technical spheres, digital technologies, transport and logistics, mining and geology, energy, chemistry, agriculture, healthcare, cultural, humanitarian and others. Within the framework of industrial cooperation, special attention is paid to the implementation of new joint projects and measures to enhance mutual trade.

The next meeting of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Business Council will also be held as part of the event. Within the framework of it, negotiations are planned in G2B and B2B formats.
