Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 February 2023, the International Management Forum was held at the Hilton Hotel. The forum participants were business representatives from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. The agenda of the forum addressed the issues of personnel management, development of corporate culture and leadership.

Within the framework of the Forum, topics related to the relationship between employee satisfaction and the results of their work were discussed. "Happy Companies: What Do They Do Differently?" under this title, a panel discussion was organized, which was attended by prominent scientists and well-known practitioners.

The Forum summed up the results of the First International Competition of Living Companies “Happiness in Business!”, in which more than 100 domestic and foreign companies took part. Among the finalists of the competition are developers, banks, telecommunications, IT and pharmaceutical companies. The best of the participants, who scored the highest “Happiness Index”, presented their experience and practice to the attention of the Forum delegates, answered questions and received recognition from the professional community.

The “Company Happiness Index” is calculated based on the assessment of employees according to 12 criteria developed by the experts of the National Assessment Center, under the guidance of Timur Yadgarov. “Based on many years of experience working with large corporations, taking into account the principles of ESG (Environmentally Friendly Socially Responsible Corporate Governance) and focusing on the priorities of inclusiveness and gender balance, we have developed a questionnaire that allows us to make a comprehensive analysis of the organization’s activities and identify areas for growth and development,” says the expert.

In the year of caring for a person, the implementation of such an initiative is especially important and will allow focusing efforts on truly topical issues in each organization.

In the afternoon, the Forum participants had the opportunity to take part in 14 master classes conducted by professional business coaches and practitioners.

Foreign guests expressed their admiration for the level of organization of the event: “We visited ancient Samarkand and saw modern Tashkent, got a unique experience of interacting with professionals and the business community of Uzbekistan. The changes taking place in the country cannot be overlooked. Despite the difficult situation, the progress is obvious,” said the foreign participants of the Forum unanimously.

Domestic businessmen who participated in the Forum say: “I made a lot of notes for myself in a notebook, there is something to share with colleagues. We really need events of such a high quality level.”

In addition to the educational, competitive and research component, the Forum gave participants the opportunity to expand business ties and establish new contacts.

The International Management Forum is gathering in Tashkent for the second time, the previous event took place in September 2021 and brought together representatives of business, higher education and science around important issues of analyzing the macroeconomic situation and developing modern management tools in companies.
