Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 November, a seminar was held with the participation of members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and deputies of all local Kengashes on the topic "The role of local Kengashes in budgetary processes and the organization of parliamentary control over budget execution."

At the meeting, chaired by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sadyk Safayev, the issues of drawing up, considering and approving the local budget, the role of local Kengashes of people's deputies in budgetary processes and organization, mechanisms of control over budget execution were discussed in detail.

At the same time, the deputies of local Kengashes received important information about the formation of republican and local budget revenues, planning expenses and execution processes, identifying additional sources of income for local budgets, as well as their effective use.

This, in turn, will serve to further increase the efficiency of local Kengashes.
