Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On measures to further enhance the role of entrepreneurs’ associations in the development of foreign trade and regional industry” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, JSC Trade Development Company (Company) is created on the base of the Agency for Management of State Assets on the basis of the Export Promotion Agency and the Export Support Fund, and the functions of managing the state share in its authorized capital are transferred to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the basis of a power of attorney.

State budget funds allocated to assist participants in foreign economic activity (with the exception of financing pre-export and export-related trade operations) are directed to the Trade Promotion Fund, created under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade without forming a legal entity, the rights to manage the funds of the Fund are transferred to the Company .

The state share and shares owned by enterprises with state participation in the authorized capital of Uzbekspertiza JSC are transferred to the Agency for Management of State Assets, with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry entrusting the function of managing the state share on the basis of a power of attorney.

One of the tasks of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to attract investors to special economic, small industrial, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones, and to provide assistance to their participants.
