Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The final conference "CLIENT II – International Partnership for Sustainable Innovations" in Central Asia took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where the key outcomes and future prospects for the region were presented.

Representatives from Uzbekistan, including Baktier Pulatov, Director of the Institute of Environmental Science and Nature Protection Technologies, and Jasure Salikhov, Rector of Green University, participated in the event on behalf of the Ministry of Ecology, Environment and Climate Change of Uzbekistan.

The "CLIENT II – International Partnership for Sustainable Innovations" financial initiative, supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany, aims to foster research collaboration with developing countries. Since 2017, 15 joint projects have been launched with Central Asian and Mongolian partners, focusing on climate, environmental, and energy sectors.

During the conference, an overview of the project's eight-year activities was presented, highlighting sustainable management of urban water resources, creation of eco-platforms for Central Asia, regional platforms for sustainable agriculture, and other significant initiatives aimed at addressing environmental challenges in the region.
