The requirements for the educational process at the Fiscal Institute established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution "On additional measures to organize the activities of the Fiscal Institute and tax colleges under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted.

According to the document, starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, the following procedure will be introduced:

- The duration of study in the direction of the bachelor's degree of the Fiscal Institute under the State Tax Committee for full-time education is 4 years, for part-time education - 5 years;

- The duration of full-time studies at the Institute's master’s degree is set at 1 year, and the duration of distance, part-time and evening studies is 2 years;

Admission to the master’s degree of the Institute of executives with at least 5 years of work experience in the Central Office of state bodies in the field of taxes and taxation, financial control and audit, tax, financial and commercial law, as well as information technology in economics, for distance learning programs, correspondence and evening on-the-job training is carried out on the recommendation of the first head of the relevant state body without entrance tests, taking into account the admission parameters;

- Graduates who graduated from the Institute with honors, as an exception, are admitted to the Institute's master’s degree without passing entrance examinations, on a paid-contractual basis, with payment of 50% of the tuition fee, taking into account the admission parameters, with the obligation of continuous work in the state tax service less than 3 years after graduation.

For young people who are children from families included in the "iron notebook" and recommended as students at the Institute, separate admission parameters can be set, financed by a payment agreement or subsidy.

The Resolution approved the Regulation governing the activities of the Board of Trustees of the Fiscal Institute.

One of the main tasks of the Council is to organize the improvement of the quality of training for bachelors and masters and the effectiveness of scientific research.

The Institute was established by Presidential resolution No. PP-4879 from 4 November 2020.
