Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 19 October, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the innovative educational and production technopark Inno, built in the Student City of our capital.
- Five years ago there were few young people who would come to such centers and laboratories. Now, using these conditions, equipment, it is necessary to train young people in the manufacture and sale of marketable products. If they are interested, a spirit will appear, they will devote themselves to this area, - said the head of our state.
In pursuance of the order of the head of state, the technopark began its work so that our youth could use modern advanced technologies and conduct research on their developments. It was also noted that the next Republican Technoways marathon, seasonally held by the National Office of Innovations under the Ministry of Innovative Development, will be held in the Inno Technopark from 15 to 24 November.
The marathon, which will last from 15 to 24 November, will be attended by talented students from all higher educational institutions of the republic, volunteers, representatives of the media and the general public.
Most of our young people have scientific projects and innovative developments, but do not have sufficient knowledge and skills to implement and commercialize them. In order to find solutions to the problems of concern to all young people, to increase their innovative, technological, scientific knowledge and to provide practical assistance in finding start-up projects, a marathon of technological development “TechnoWays” has begun.
Lectures and trainings within the framework of the technological development marathon will be organized by experienced speakers. In particular, the speakers will hold a master class on forming an idea before a startup. Azizbek Ilkhamov, head of the department “Formation and development of the startup ecosystem” of the Ministry of Innovative Development, expressed the following opinion about startups:
- Due to the fact that in our country the startup sector is just developing, our young people still do not fully understand its conventional laws, rules and requirements. As a result, donated start-up projects are not scrutinized. That is, not enough information is provided on the analysis regarding the demand for this product in the market. Then the funds received are spent on production. And when the product is ready, it turns out that there is no demand in the market as expected. Before producing a product, you need to prepare it as an MVP to see if the market is ready for it.
Employees of the National Office for Innovation and Technology Transfer will participate as mentors in the marathon. They will conduct master classes for the marathon participants on programming electronics using the Arduino program. In particular, general recommendations will be given on the transfer of projects to grants, the acceleration process and the correct filling of the cost estimate.
At the TechnoWays marathon of technological development, young people interested in innovative technologies will receive the necessary information about the process from turning start-up ideas into innovative developments to their commercialization.
Within the framework of the marathon, which will last from 15 to 24 November, various excursions "Innotour" will be organized for the participants. In particular, a trip of the participants to the enterprises of Akfa Visitors Center JSC, Yashnabad Industrial Technopark and UzAUTO Motors Powertrain JSC is planned. Meetings with qualified specialists are planned in order to familiarize the participants of the marathon with the work process and gain experience.
And on 20 November, an event dedicated to Investors Day will be organized, where the marathon participants will have the opportunity to present their projects to investors, which accordingly determines the significance of the marathon for our youth.
In addition, during the TechnoWays marathon, which will last from November 15 to 24, all conditions will be created for the participants to use the advanced technologies presented in the Inno Technopark to improve and improve their developments. About 300 participants have registered to participate in the republican stage of the TechnoWays technological development marathon. As a result, the experts selected the best projects and about 100 participants received vouchers to participate in the marathon.
Depending on how the participants in the TechnoWays technological development marathon defend their projects and find solutions to pressing problems, they will be evaluated by qualified specialists and awarded with voucher cash prizes and valuable gifts.
