Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The vehicle fleet of the Republican Emergency Medical Center was replenished with 30 new Volkswagen Caddy cars. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the cars were produced at the Jizzakh Auto plant.

These cars will be distributed among the branches of the ambulance center in Kashkadarya, Samarkand and Khorezm regions.

The Ministry of Health noted that by March it is planned to deliver another 170 cars to various regions of Uzbekistan.

According to the department, the number of Volkswagen Caddy ambulances in Uzbekistan has reached 800.

The Republican Emergency Medical Center received 685 Volkswagen Caddy ambulances in 2023 alone.

Deliveries of Volkswagen Caddy cars began in September 2021. Then the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to supply 1000 Volkswagen Caddy cars to the regions by October.
