Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The regional forum of the heads of the NOCs of the CIS, Baltic countries and Georgia ended in Tashkent.

During this forum, which brought together the leaders of the NOCs of 14 countries, a special program was developed for the guests to demonstrate the rich Uzbek culture and art. Within its framework, an excursion was first organized around the Victory Park, the Center of Islamic Civilization, the Humo sports complex, and then around Samarkand.

In the ancient city, the guests were met by the khokim of Samarkand region Erkin Turdimov. During the excursion, the chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, told the guests about our rich culture and history, about the priceless heritage left by our ancestors.

Thus, all activities for the participants of the regional forum have been completed and the delegations are returning home.

Within the framework of the forum, promising plans were discussed to increase the projects of interaction between the participants. Relevant joint decisions were made on the issues raised at it, memorandums of cooperation were signed. We believe that the projects will be critical in strengthening the promotion of Olympism in the region in the future.
