The quality of banking services to improve

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As part of a detailed explanation of the essence of the new tasks of transforming the banking system for employees at all levels of the banking sector, as well as organizing quality work in the field, workshops, meetings and seminars are held in the regions of the republic with the participation of the Vice-Chairmen of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During such events, the banking sector discussed issues of organizing banking activities in accordance with modern requirements, eliminating existing problems and shortcomings, introducing new banking services, ensuring the convenience and accessibility of banking services for customers.

Particular attention is paid to optimizing the activities of commercial banks, standardizing and universalizing retail banking services, and providing standard banking services that are generally convenient for all customers.

It was also decided to speed up the launch process of bank-financed investment projects, measures were taken to ensure timely repayment of previously issued loans and directing these resources to provide working capital for the most effective projects, with particular emphasis on production.

After the meetings, the Central Bank’s working group visited regional banking services centers, got acquainted with the current conditions and exchanged views with the heads of commercial banks on areas requiring closer attention in terms of the optimal organization of work in this area.
