Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on the implementation of the project “Restoration of sustainable forest landscapes in Uzbekistan” with the participation of the International Development Association.

In accordance with this resolution, a Group will be created under the Forestry Agency to implement the project “Restoration of sustainable forest landscapes in Uzbekistan” with the participation of the International Development Association with the status of a legal entity.

The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change and the Forestry Agency will be the executive bodies responsible for the implementation and coordination of the project, as well as for the effective use of borrowed funds and grants, monitoring and timely reporting during its implementation.
