The procedure for processing certain notarial transactions from abroad to be established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Resolution No. 158 from 11 September 2023, within the framework of the strategy “Uzbekistan - 2030” to ensure the rule of law, the organization of public administration focused on serving the people:

from 1 January 2024, the practice of receiving purchase and sale agreements for motor vehicles and other notarized transactions from the automated Notary system is being introduced when providing public services in the field of road safety, including state registration of motor vehicles.

At the same time, it is prohibited to demand these documents from applicants.

From 1 March 2024, a procedure will be introduced for registering transactions related to the use of property (with the exception of the transfer of ownership to another person) through videoconferencing using an electronic digital signature without visiting a notary’s office, including while abroad.

From 1 January 2024, the Mahalla Budget system is being gradually introduced in all districts and cities of the republic.

About 10 trillion soums will be allocated from the State Budget to finance projects formed on the basis of public opinion in 2024, of which at least 4 trillion soums will be allocated to the “Well-maintained village” and “Well-maintained mahalla” programs.

By the end of 2024, a procedure will be introduced for considering the issue of issuing sanctions for operational-search and investigative actions on the grounds established by law, by individual judges - investigative judges.

From 1 January 2024, the following procedures will be introduced:

release from liability of a person who committed a crime for the first time if he fully compensated for the damage caused to the state in the form of taxes and fees, including penalties and other financial sanctions, before the court was removed to the deliberation room;

involvement in the protection of entrepreneurs as a public defender (notification) of the Business Ombudsman, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other organizations of which business entities are members, during the investigation or trial in each criminal case initiated against a business entity, from the moment of acceptance for proceedings materials of the criminal case by the relevant official.

From 1 January 2024, complete installation of pedestrian crossings with traffic lights on all new two or more lane roads being built in populated areas is mandatory.
