Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On the procedure for the payment of supplements to employees who engaged in scientific, pedagogical and labor activities in all state organizations in the field of education and science”.

In accordance with the Resolution, the salary of workers engaged in scientific, pedagogical and labor activities in state organizations in the field of education and science, established a system of surcharges in the next amount:

up to 30% of salary - with a Ph.D. or Ph.D. degree;

up to 60% of salary - with a Doctor of Science degree.

The surcharge is established based on the results of evaluating the implementation of the relevant criteria, as well as on the basis of the submission of the head of the structural unit and the decision of the collegial body of the organization, taking into account the contribution of each employee to scientific, pedagogical and labor activities.

The resolution also approved the regulation on the procedure for paying bonuses to employees with a scientific degree.

According to this, the surcharge can be set in a single or monthly form. The maximum period for establishing an additional monthly payment shall not exceed one year.
