Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for issuing a lawyer’s certificate.
According to the Regulations, a lawyer’s certificate is issued by the territorial bodies of justice at the place of registration of the lawyer formation for a period of 10 years.
After joining the lawyer formation, the applicant sends an application for obtaining a lawyer’s certificate in electronic form through the information system "Legal Aid" to the justice authority.
There is no fee for issuing a lawyer’s certificate.
The lawyer’s certificate is issued within 2 working days after the application is submitted.
When the attorney’s certificate is ready, the applicant is notified in real time through the information system.
An applicant will be denied a lawyer’s certificate in the following cases:
- if the applicant did not create a lawyer formation or was not accepted in any of the existing lawyer formations;
- if the applicant has not taken the oath of a lawyer.
Attorney’s license is considered invalid if is impossible to scan a special QR code on it.
Attorney’s certificate is produced based on technology to prevent unusable to use the image state of a special QR code (matrix barcode).
The lawyer’s certificate is reissued in the following cases:
- when changing the last name, first name or patronymic of a lawyer, after reissuing his license;
- when a lawyer joins a lawyer formation registered on the territory of another body of justice;
- upon expiration of the attorney’s certificate;
- in case of loss of a lawyer’s certificate or recognition of it invalid.
