Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– The Resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan approved the Regulation on the procedure for insuring livestock maintained in livelihoods of households and business entities engaged in livestock farming.

In accordance with the Regulation, an animal insurance contract is drawn up with the insurer on a voluntary basis upon the oral or written request of the insured.

The policyholder pays the insurance premium and is given an insurance policy.

Upon the occurrence of an insured event (death, theft and forced slaughter of the insured animal), an act is drawn up about this.

The insurance indemnity is paid based on the application of the insured and the relevant documents submitted.
