The principle of “one stop shop” is being introduced in the judicial system

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President signed the Law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the adoption of additional measures to ensure effective protection of the rights of citizens and business entities in relations with state bodies”.

The document establishes the grounds for issuing a special ruling by the court of cassation when considering a criminal case (when it is necessary to draw the attention of officials to shortcomings made during the inquiry, investigation and trial).

It also establishes a list of grounds under which civil proceedings are terminated on a cassation complaint (protest).

When a claim is filed in a civil court in violation of the rules of jurisdiction, the statement of claim is submitted for consideration to the economic or administrative court. In this case, the judge of the court that accepted the claim transferred from another court, if there are deficiencies, within 10 days notifies the plaintiff of the need to eliminate them.

Also, now it is not allowed to combine several interconnected claims, some of which are under the jurisdiction of the civil court, and others - the administrative court.

From now on, a complaint against any decisions or actions of a state executor is submitted exclusively to an administrative court or to a higher body and an official (previously, a complaint in enforcement cases related to the economic court was considered in the economic courts).

Moreover, executive documents issued by economic courts can also be presented for execution within three years (previously - within 6 months).
