Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 31 January – 2 February 2020, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the 27th BaltTour-2020 international tourism exhibition.
According to the information of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia, about 1 thousand companies providing tourism services and conducting wholesale and retail trade from 40 countries annually take part in this event.
This year, the delegation of Uzbekistan was represented by the largest number of travel companies in the history of their participation in BaltTour.
The exhibition showed a growing interest in Uzbekistan as a destination for tourists from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and even Finland. This is also facilitated by the fact that the BaltTour organizing committee decided to separately emphasize the attractiveness of the tourist direction “Uzbekistan” by posting a promotional material on its website entitled “Tour of Samarkand”.
