Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - By resolution of the President, the Digital Development Department was established in the form of an LLC, founded by the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, as well as industry project offices in the structure of the Department, their main tasks were determined.
According to this, the structure of the Executive Office of the Tashkent city khokimiyat introduced the position of deputy khokim for the implementation of information technology - the head of the Department.
In accordance with the resolution, from 1 September 2020, when developing information systems and software products, government bodies and organizations are obliged:
- use common technological solutions, classifiers and standards approved by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications;
- ensure the use of predominantly electronic documents of a single open format, free of licensing restrictions when implementing software products.
To organize public control over the state of urban infrastructure, the quality of public services and other issues of interest to the population, a portal and the Khalq Nazorati mobile application will be launched before 1 May 2020.
