Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the Presidential Decree, amendments were made to the Decree “On additional measures for the accelerated development of the pharmaceutical industry of the republic in 2022–2026.”

According to the Decree, from 1 January 2024, a mechanism for guaranteed procurement of pharmaceutical products subject to localization will be introduced within the scope of the State budget planned for allocation for the purchase of pharmaceutical products, by concluding an agreement for a period of up to 10 years based on positive results of clinical trials and state registration processes and certification. (Previously this period was 3 years).
