Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 7 June, a practical action plan (road map) for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation for 2024-2025 was signed between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, AzerTaj reports.

The document was signed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzilya Narbaeva and the Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahib Gafarova.

At the signing ceremony, it was noted that the high-level relations between friendly and brotherly countries and heads of state contribute to the further expansion of ties between their legislative bodies.

In this context, the importance of the signed road map for further deepening cooperation between the parliaments of the two states was brought to attention.

It should be noted that the document contains provisions regarding the organization of mutual visits, exchange of experience in the field of legislative activity, interaction in international parliamentary organizations, as well as other issues.
