Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A procedure has been established for holding competitions for participation in international tourism fairs and exhibitions of tourism organizations with the support of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Currently, it is planned to participate in 19 of the most prestigious international tourism exhibitions and fairs in the world. The competition is open to residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan who are engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the field of "inbound tourism" (who are not in the process of reorganization, liquidation and bankruptcy).

It will be attended by tour operators and travel agents, as well as tourist entities such as accommodation facilities, organizations providing transport services. To participate in international tourism fairs and exhibitions, you must submit an application to the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR Center" under the Committee 90 calendar days before the event.

The application is accompanied by a certificate of state registration as a business entity, a license to carry out tourism activities, copies of certificates obtained in the manner prescribed by law for tourism services.

The participant will also be required to have their own website and tour operators and travel agents are required to offer a range of tour packages as a service. High qualification of the contestants and marketing activity increase their chances of winning the contest. The National PR Center will consider the application within 5 working days and decide whether to participate in the competition or refuse to participate in the competition.

Within 20 calendar days, the Center will check the participant and inform him about the results of the competition. The results of the competition will be published on the official websites and social networks of the State Committee for Tourism Development and the National PR Center.

The costs of renting exhibition space at international tourism exhibitions and fairs, construction and installation of premises for exhibits of selected tourism organizations will be financed by the Committee.
