Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 18 March 2022, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set new foreign exchange rates against the Uzbek soum.

The US dollar exchange rate exceeded the mark of 11,500 soums, having increased by 241.61 soums compared to 17 March to 11,571.99 soums.

The euro exchange rate against the Uzbek soum increased by 344.14 soums - up to 12,792.83 soums, British pounds - by 446.33 soums to 15,244.94 soums.

Exchange rates are set by the Central Bank on a weekly basis for accounting, statistical and other reporting on foreign exchange transactions, as well as the calculation of customs and other mandatory payments.
