Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On additional measures to improve the rating of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United Nations report “E-Government Study” was adopted.
According to the Resolution, from 1 June 2024, new digital services will, as a rule, be implemented primarily in the mobile application of the Unified Portal of Interactive Government Services.
Until the end of 2024:
the number of services provided on the Unified Portal will be increased to 700, the level of their automation will reach 65 percent;
the provision of at least 75 percent of digital services implemented on the Unified Portal will be provided through a mobile application.
Also, the following specialized portals will be launched:
from 1 January 2024 - providing detailed information about the digital government system and its capabilities for the population and business entities;
from 1 June 2024 - providing information about green areas, gardens and public parks on the territory of the republic;
from 1 September 2024 - providing information on public transport in the city of Tashkent.
Also, a draft regulatory legal act will be developed on the phased organization in all regions of the republic of a unified centralized dispatch service “112” for receiving and promptly processing calls from the population for emergency operational services.
From 1 November 2023, using the “last mile” principle, in cooperation with business entities, a cooperation program will be implemented aimed at bringing a broadband Internet network to households.
By the end of 2024, an additional 50 thousand kilometers of fiber-optic communication lines will be built in the backbone telecommunications network and populated areas.
