Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the first half of 2023, in addition to Uzbekistan Airways, Qanot Sharq, Panorama Airways and Humo Air, Centrum Air, Silk Avia, Asia Union Airlines and Tashkent Air were established and began operating.

Over the past 6 months of 2023, Uzbekistan Airways and newly created resident airlines imported 17 airplanes into Uzbekistan.

To date, Uzbekistan Airways, Qanot Sharq, Centrum Air, Silk Avia and Humo Air operate 93 regular flights per week to local destinations.

In the IATA-2023 summer season, residents and foreign airlines were granted permission to operate international flights on 697 frequencies per week.
