As of 1 October 2023, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 36,599,764 people.

The number of permanent residents of Uzbekistan increased by 2.2% compared to the corresponding period last year, the Agency notes.

The population of Uzbekistan has increased by 574,800 people since the beginning of 2023.

The population of Uzbekistan increased by 63,900 people on average every month in 2023. Every day of 2023, the number of permanent residents increases by 2,100 people.

According to the Statistics Agency, the number of women in Uzbekistan is 18,176,873 people, and men - 18,422,891 people.

As of 1 October 2023, there are 246,018 more men than women in the resident population.
