The Netherlands beat Ukraine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Netherlands won their opening match of the Euro 2020 with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Ukraine in Amsterdam.

Wijnadlum put the Dutch side ahead early in the second half, with Wout Weghorst doubling the lead soon after.

With 15 minutes left the Ukrainians drew level thanks to efforts of Yarmolenko and Yaremchuk. But Dumfries scored third goal of the Dutch to win all three points.
