Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential resolution “On the establishment of the National Institute of Pedagogical Education named after Kari-Niyazi” has been adopted. 

According to the resolution, the National Institute of Pedagogical Education named after Kari-Niyazi (the Institute) will be established.

The Institute will be a state institution providing postgraduate education in the field of developing and implementing new educational methods, preparing scientifically grounded proposals for the improvement of the education sector.

Scientific councils will be established at the Institute specializing in "Theory of Pedagogy. History of Pedagogical Teachings," "Theory and Methods of Teaching and Education," and "Social Pedagogy."

Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, internationally recognized methods of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) will be introduced in general secondary educational institutions as part of a pilot experiment.

The Republican Council for the Coordination of Scientific Research in the field of education will be organized.
