The movement of trains in the Tashkent metro to be controlled by Russian digital automation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Train traffic at the new stations of the ground ring line of the Tashkent metro will be controlled by Russian digital automation developed and manufactured by the ZhAT Division of the 1520 Group of Companies.

“With the launch of new stations, the second stage of construction of the ring line of the Tashkent metro was completed. GK 1520, in partnership with Trans Engineering Group, has equipped the line with the latest microprocessor control systems, which will ensure the reliability and safety of transportation. In addition, the capacity will increase - up to 44 pairs of trains per hour. The intervals between trains will be reduced, passengers will be able to travel faster and more comfortably,” said Dmitry Bolotsky, Deputy General Director for International Projects of GK 1520.

He also explained that earlier GK 1520 digitized traffic at seven stations of the first stage of the circle line, and on the entire Sergeli line of the Tashkent metro.

At all facilities, the latest microprocessor-based interlocking system MPTs-SM was introduced. The system allows personnel to remotely control arrows and traffic lights, set routes, and monitor the status of equipment. Automation is adapted to the hot climate of Uzbekistan, resistant to high temperatures - up to 60 ° C, equipped with lightning protection.

GK 1520 develops and manufactures digital automation for all types of rail transport. Microprocessor systems control traffic at the facilities of the Moscow Metro, MCD and MCC, as well as at the Eastern range of railways - BAM and Transsib. Equipment GK 1520 is successfully operated on the highways of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and other countries.
