Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 August 2022, the number of operating enterprises with the participation of foreign capital in Uzbekistan was 14,546 units, State Statistics Committee said.

About 6,267 units of them are joint companies and 8,279 units are foreign enterprises, and their number by sectors of the economy was reflected as follows:

in trade - 4,290 units.

in industry - 4,190 units.

in construction - 1,181 units.

in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 737 units.

in the field of accommodation and food - 600 units.

in the field of information and communication - 550 units.

in the field of transportation and storage - 403 units.

in healthcare and social services - 221 units.

in others - 2,374 units.
