The Ministry of Health filed a lawsuit to revoke the license of the Star Med clinic

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Health filed a lawsuit to revoke the license of the Star Med clinic. Today, on 15 May, a trial will begin in the Zangiata Interdistrict Economic Court. The first hearing is scheduled for 10:50.

According to the source, the inspections conducted by the Ministry of Health to study the work of the Star Med clinic have been completed. The revealed cases were documented by experts of the Ministry and the case was submitted to the court.

We remind you that the founder of the Mittivine humorous project, the famous blogger Farhod Mannopov, died on the night of 5 March 2023 at the age of 27 at the Star Med clinic. A case was initiated under article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the work of the Star Med clinic, where he was operated on, was temporarily suspended.

Earlier, according to the results of a study by the Ministry of Health regarding the death of Farhod Mannopoa, it was reported that the anesthesiologist and resuscitator, plastic surgeon, laboratory assistant and ultrasound doctor who provided medical services to the patient at the Star Med clinic had no qualification category.

It is noted that in the provision of medical services to the patient Farhod Mannopov, a number of licensing requirements and conditions specified in the Uniform Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 21 February 2022 No. 80 were violated. In particular, the doctor J.K., who served the patient as an anesthesiologist-resuscitator at the Star Med Center clinic, where Farhod Mannopov was operated on, did not have a qualification category. A valid document confirming the qualification category of an anesthesiologist-resuscitator was not submitted.

The plastic surgeon who operated on the blogger did not have enough experience. The doctor who performed the plastic surgery on him was E.A., who on 17 June 2019 graduated from the Andijan State Medical Institute with a degree in General Medicine.

Since this specialist had less than five years of experience, he was not required to have a qualification category for medical work, medical activities under the direction of a general practitioner, as well as for the provision of medical services to patients on an outpatient basis in plastic surgery. However, in order to provide medical services to the sick Mannopov, he had to have at least the first qualification category.

However, OMAD PLUS LLC allowed the plastic surgeon E.A. provide medical services to a patient in a situation where he did not have the required qualification category.

In addition, laboratory assistant J.Sh. and ultrasound doctor R.S., did not submit valid documents confirming their qualification categories in their medical specialty.

According to the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Khayet Shamsuddinov, the investigation continues within the framework of the criminal case initiated on the fact of Mannopov's death. The trial in this case will be held separately.
