Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan with the director of Samsung Electronics Uzbekistan Kim Jinbyong. Issues of cooperation in the development of IT education were discussed at the meeting.

Representatives of the ministry presented information on the tasks set in the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy to popularize the IT sector among young people and increase the export of services.

Representatives of Samsung Electronics Uzbekistan noted that the company plans to launch the Samsung Innovation Campus project in Uzbekistan. The project is carried out in the CIS countries, where high school students and IT university students take part.

It was noted that within the framework of the Samsung Electronics Uzbekistan project in Uzbekistan, it was proposed to develop and implement educational projects to train specialists in such areas as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, mobile programming and working with big data (Big data).

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, which will be aimed at developing IT education, equipping universities and schools with modern technologies and curricula free of charge, improving the qualifications of teachers, etc.
