Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 April, Minister of Mining and Geology Bobir Islamov met with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Uzbekistan Lubomir Frebort.

Prospects for the development of cooperation in the mining sector were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of interaction between enterprises of the two countries, and the parties agreed to intensify this area.

The minister emphasized that recently cooperation between the countries has become more and more dynamic. This is evidenced by regular high-level meetings, growth in trade turnover and ongoing investment projects. “But there is still a lot of work ahead,” the minister said.
