Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Uzbekistan on 18 October, Chairman of the State Agency for the Provision of Services to Citizens and Social Innovation under the President of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev met with the Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan Akbar Tashkulov.

During the meeting, Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov told the guests about the large-scale reforms being implemented in the field of public services in Uzbekistan. In particular, it was noted that 208 modern public service centers have been created in all regions (cities) of the republic, through which 309 types of public services are provided to the population. By the end of 2023, the number of types of public services is planned to be increased to 350.

In turn, Ulvi Mehdiyev spoke about the activities of the State Agency for the Provision of Services to Citizens and Social Innovation under the President of Azerbaijan. This organization operates in four areas, such as public services, digitalization, innovation and social projects. ASAN-KHIDMET centers operate in the country. It was noted that these centers provide more than 320 services from government agencies, private organizations, and public utilities.

Following the meeting, which took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties agreed to further deepen cooperation with the aim of exchanging experience.

A tour of the ministry is organized for guests. They were able to visit the museum of justice authorities and get acquainted with the process of creating media materials on legal topics.
